# Beatbotz Education — Impact & Evaluation Framework

## Aim
Keep evaluation proportionate. The goal is to understand whether the resource improves engagement, conversations and support — not to over-claim causation from a small pilot.

## Suggested outcomes
### Engagement
- pupil completion / participation;
- repeated voluntary use;
- staff-reported engagement;
- pupil ratings of relevance.

### Voice
- pupils report feeling listened to;
- more specific pupil-led goals;
- richer contribution to reviews / support plans.

### Early identification
- staff report earlier awareness of barriers;
- useful conversations initiated following check-ins;
- appropriate support put in place sooner.

### Confidence
- pupil confidence in where to seek help;
- staff confidence in using the resource;
- improved consistency of language across staff.

### Inclusion
- accessibility for pupils with different communication / SEND needs;
- evidence that adaptations were used successfully.

## Evidence sources
Use a small mixed-methods approach:
- short pupil survey;
- short staff survey;
- usage counts where appropriate;
- two or three anonymised case examples;
- pupil focus group;
- staff review meeting.

## Reporting format
At the end of the pilot produce a one-page summary:
1. What we tested.
2. Who took part.
3. What worked.
4. What we learned.
5. What changed as a result.
6. Recommendation for the next phase.
