Use this before any safeguarding-related content is published or piloted.

## Content
- [ ] Is the language age-appropriate?
- [ ] Does the scenario avoid unnecessary graphic detail?
- [ ] Is the intended safeguarding message clear?
- [ ] Does the resource avoid implying that a child is responsible for resolving abuse or unsafe situations themselves?
- [ ] Are help-seeking routes clear?

## Escalation
- [ ] What happens if a pupil indicates they feel unsafe?
- [ ] Who receives or responds to that information?
- [ ] Is this consistent with the school's existing safeguarding policy?
- [ ] Is the tool clear that it is not an emergency service?

## Data
- [ ] Is any identifiable information stored?
- [ ] Is data collection genuinely necessary?
- [ ] Who can access the data?
- [ ] How long is it retained?
- [ ] Has privacy / DPIA advice been considered where required?

## Inclusion
- [ ] Have SEND and communication needs been considered?
- [ ] Is the wording non-judgemental?
- [ ] Are examples culturally inclusive?
- [ ] Can pupils access the same help routes in more than one way?

## Review
- [ ] DSL / safeguarding lead review complete.
- [ ] Relevant pastoral / SEND review complete.
- [ ] Pupil voice review complete where appropriate.
- [ ] Review date recorded.
