# Beatbotz Education — Pupil Co-production Pack

## Purpose
Young people should influence the language, scenarios, visuals and interactions that are intended for them.

## Suggested workshop structure
### 1. What feels real?
Ask pupils what school resources usually get wrong about their age group.

### 2. What situations matter?
Generate anonymous scenario ideas around belonging, pressure, online life, friendships, asking for help and feeling safe.

### 3. Rewrite the adult version
Give pupils a deliberately formal sentence and ask them to rewrite it in language that sounds natural and respectful.

### 4. Build a scenario
In groups, create a 60–90 second scene with one clear decision point.

### 5. Test the interaction
Show a prototype and ask:
- What is confusing?
- What feels patronising?
- What feels realistic?
- What is missing?
- Would you actually use this?

### 6. Review accessibility
Consider reading age, symbols, subtitles, colour contrast, audio, mobility, communication needs and sensory load.

## Ground rules
- No pupil has to share personal experiences.
- Fictional examples are encouraged.
- Staff remain responsible for safeguarding.
- Any disclosure follows the school's normal safeguarding process.
