# Beatbotz Education — Staff Implementation Guide

## 1. Choose the purpose
Start with one clear problem or opportunity. Avoid trying to use every feature at once.

Examples:
- Improve the start of the day.
- Create safer conversations around safeguarding.
- Understand barriers to attendance.
- Give a pupil greater ownership of their support plan.

## 2. Identify a project lead
Nominate one staff member to coordinate the pilot and one senior reviewer for safeguarding / policy alignment where relevant.

## 3. Personalise the tool
Agree:
- school name and branding;
- age-appropriate language;
- support routes and named staff roles;
- local safeguarding wording;
- content to hide, adapt or prioritise.

## 4. Introduce it to staff
Keep the launch practical. Staff should understand:
- what the tool is for;
- what it is not for;
- how to respond to disclosures;
- what data is or is not being collected;
- how feedback will be gathered.

## 5. Involve pupils
Use pupil voice to review wording, scenarios, icons, accessibility and whether the experience feels authentic.

## 6. Pilot small
A four-to-six-week pilot with a small cohort is often more useful than a whole-school launch.

## 7. Review impact
Capture:
- pupil engagement;
- staff usability;
- confidence in conversations;
- examples of earlier intervention;
- what pupils say should change.

## 8. Decide what happens next
At the end of the pilot, agree whether to refine, expand, pause or commission a wider version.
